Why we built it
Online conversation is noisy, one-way, and exhausting. For years, the internet made it easy to react but hard to reflect; easy to broadcast but tough to hear one another. Text strips away tone and flattens people, while social media algorithms often reward outrage.
The format is broken. Too often, the conversation breaks with it. We built Equator.app because we believe there is a better way to disagree honestly without it turning toxic.

Our roots
Equator.app was founded by Bob Rosenschein, who led Answers.com from a startup idea to a NASDAQ company by inventing a better way to share knowledge.
Equator.app is the next chapter — doing the same for opinion by turning online discussion into a watchable, human, and scalable video product.
